Fastelavensbolle

Sweet wheat roll filled with whipped cream, jam (usually strawberry or apricot) and marzipan (just a tiny bit or else it would get too sweet). Traditionally eaten on the Sunday 7 weeks before Easter Day.

Since I’ve been living in England for nearly 4 years, I haven’t had one of these for ages. I decided to make some for some friends and myself yesterday – Nom nom nom!

P.S: I’m not very good at taking photos of food. They do look pretty amazing in real life!
